BEAUTY TALK
[x] Beauty for me does not mean faces, because that's subjective. I find a face beautiful, good looking, attractive, and all the terms you want to use, once I know them. The vibes from a person physically changes the appearance of the person for me. This may sound cliched but it works for me. A technically good-looking person will have no attraction for me if I find him or her boring and dull. Beauty or attraction is more about the whole person, if you know what I mean!

Inner beauty matters more and for that, one needs to be healthy from inside. Nowadays, we use a lot of oil for cooking which is really bad for health. I am sure not many of us are aware of this and don’t take timely measures to prevent health hazards.
If you feel good from inside, you are bound to have great looks very soon. Most of the people go for the external cure only. But you must be healthy within if you are looking forward to that natural glow."
KATRINA'S TIPS
[x] I kick start my day with three to four glasses of water. I am addicted to the Purifying Apricot Oil from Anne Semoin.
[x] My shortcut to beauty therapy is exercise — swimming, jogging, gymming — this gives blood circulation a boost and skin feels healthier.
[x] My favourite beauty haunt is Shahnaz Herbal Clinic.
I like to play up my eyes with lots of mascara by Yves Saint Laurent.
[x] A beauty rule that I follow is to always cleanse my face of all make-up, however tired I may be. I use a face wash by Mene & Moy which has two per cent salicylic acid and Lancôme Cleansing Milk for the face and eyes.
[x] My quick fix before a party is blow-drying my hair. I use a Kérastase product in my bath which leaves my hair soft and manageable. So styling comes easy.
[x] My skin behaves well if I use less make-up.
[x] My look for the coming season is traditional with more emphasis on the eyes with MAC kohl, keeping cheeks and lips neutral with a bronze highlighter from Laura Mercier and a MAC lip gloss in nude.
[x] My bedside table essentials are a body moisturizer from Clarins, vitamin C tablets and a book to learn Hindi!
[x] To deal with a beauty emergency I rely on a mineral mud mask by Anne Semoin. It calms my skin.
Diva Tip: Use serum on your hair and use a paddle brush for a silky smooth de-frizzed look.
Inner Glow: I use acai berry supplements to keep my skin healthy. I have wheatgrass powder every day in a drink. I am trying to give myself an antioxidant boost with green tea and am on a macrobiotic raw food diet.
Best Luxury: Regular Face and Body Massages at The Oberoi or at Freedas at Bandra
